Competent Nurse Aides

Our hiring process is rigorous: drug screenings, background checks, and multiple interviews are required to ensure personal appearance and grooming meet our standard. We only employ individuals who clearly demonstrate quality, competence and the correct attitude.

Our nurse aides are obligated to meet certain requirements:

  • One year current experience
  • Criminal background checks & drug testing for all employees
  • Valid and verifiable licenses & certificates
  • Reference checks, performed for previous 2 years of employment, before assignment
  • Annual physical examinations, including negative TB screening, are required and documented
  • Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or declination is required
  • OSHA Bloodborne pathogens training, given during orientation
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification must be maintained
  • An employee point system is enforced to maintain rigorous attendance standards
  • Zero tolerance for no-call / no-shows
  • Adherence to the facilities requirements, including CPR certification, physical exams, documentation of Rubella / Rubeola immunity, drug screening and varicella immunity
