Chicago-based BrightStar Healthcare will open four locations throughout Georgia by the end of 2006, targeting Atlanta, Marietta and Savannah. BrightStar is a full-service agency that specializes in providing both medical and non-medical staff for private duty homecare and healthcare for corporate clients. According to a new federal report, U.S. healthcare spending increased to nearly $1.9 trillion in 2004, consuming 16 percent of the nation’s economic output.
